Job Description
This position is responsible for break/fix remediation of Windows servers for CVS. Being able to respond to multiple issues in a fast paced, operations environment is a must. The candidate must be strong in Windows knowledge and administration. CVS is a large virtual environment, so experience in VMware and ESX will be needed. The engineer in this position will be faced with communicating to all levels of management, so being able to communicate clearly and effectively will be a valued skill.


This will be a 3rd shift position with the possibility of working weekend nights.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of windows server administration (2003 and higher)
2+ years of experience in a large server environment (500 servers or more)
2+ years working knowledge of VMware


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with change control process in large enterprises
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and users
Knowledge of network topologies
Ability to respond to on call pages in a timely manner.


Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
