What We Do
Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

The Director Strategic Accounts, LTC will manage and develop a team dedicated to maintaining client satisfaction and retention. This role will be responsible for overall retention, growth, and strategic planning of their assigned accounts.
· Manage the performance of a team of Account Executives in order to achieve retention goals and expansion targets, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
· Ensure territory management achieves maximum scope and reach utilization with an emphasis on cost efficiency and expense management
· Partner with Account Management team for delivery of local, facility-based services
· Deliver proactive contract management that includes strategic contract analysis to determine appropriate renewal action plan, assist Account Executives as needed with contract presentation and negotiations
· Support Account Executive team in Quarterly Business Review presentations and Annual Business Plans; attend client meetings as needed
· Identify at-risk accounts and consult with internal partners to assist with development of action plans to address customer risks and opportunities; attend client meetings as needed
· Provide support in resolution of complex client issues and requests, as well as assessment of client needs to expand existing business
· Project manage activities associated in onboarding new facilities
· Support Account Management leadership team with design and implementation of new initiatives
· Communicate and drive implementation and continued usage of CVS Health program and initiatives
· Accountable for recruiting, hiring, training, and engagement of team in order to deliver on department goals
· Responsible for coaching and development of team, to include full account reviews
· Operate with strong business acumen and industry knowledge, remaining conscious of industry trends

· Demonstrated track record of success in leadership of client/account management teams in a matrix environment
· Demonstrated consultative skills that deliver impactful solutions real time, ability to influence
· Proven success utilizing project management skills; ability to strategically and creatively solve problems when dealing with a multitude of variables where standard resolutions do not exist
· Strong financial, business, and contract negotiation skills
· Track record of proactively tackling issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind
· Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive, and equitable manner
· Track record of performing under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics, and finding solutions that lead to client satisfaction
· Effective presentation and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications
Long Term Care industry experience
Prior account management and/or business development leadership experience with portfolios representing at least $50M in revenue annually


Bachelor’s Degree or related experience required
