The Pharmacy Operations Sr Consultant is an ambassador and subject matter expert for retail pharmacy and field operations. This person will represent key Pharmacy Operations interests with departments, support store and field colleagues, as well as develop and enhance programs. This role will collaborate with members of many teams to lend operational expertise within and outside of Pharmacy Operations.


This person will be heavily involved in maintaining excellent day-to-day support, problem resolution and ownership of numerous projects. Critical thinking, impacting, and influencing skills will be needed to uphold the highest standards in these areas. A deep understanding of the business is required to deliver timely resolution or processes to remove operational barriers for stores and field.

This person will be responsible for the management of his/her own individual projects to drive excellence. In addition, they will develop and implement enhancements of their programs, to improve execution and remove barriers for field and pharmacy teams. Candidate will need strong problem solving and analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and develop meaningful operational output.

The primary objectives of this team are three-fold: First, to support store and field teams day to day with the tools, resources and management framework necessary to drive growth and provide value. Second, is to drive speed and innovation in an ever-evolving pharmacy landscape through improved system functionality and processes. Third, is to act as a liaison between the stores and field and the corporate office, linking our company vision and focus on service. This role will help to manage day to day activities that will each have a profound impact on the current state, future direction and performance of the company overall. More specifically, this individual’s responsibility will include, but is not limited to, the following.

·This position will support the operational needs of RxConnect (pharmacy dispensing system) and peripheral platforms.


·This role will be responsible for the reporting associated with myStore Health, our Pharmacy Management Operating System. Successful candidate is expected to evaluate information and data related to Store and Field activity within this system.

·This role will also be involved in the development/enhancement of operational programs.


In addition, this position is expected to use logic and analytical skills to plan, develop and generate accurate reports for review by a variety of teams: Rx Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Risk Management, etc. A successful candidate will evaluate data to draw conclusions, identify cause and effect relationships, to challenge strategic assumptions and to provide insight for decision-making. This position requires acquiring a solid understanding of various systems and data repositories, data mining, measuring, tracking, drawing conclusions, recommending potential opportunities for performance improvement. The successful candidate in this position will leverage their operational knowledge and will develop a deeper understanding of our pharmacy business as well as operation processes, in order to best provide relevant reporting, support, strategic recommendations and to drive work streams.


Required Qualifications
2+ years of retail pharmacy or retail pharmacy support experience


Preferred Qualifications
· PTCB/National Certified Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent)
· Ability to be flexible and change direction as needed
· Ability to manage and support multiple projects at one time
· Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results
· Ability to handle complex, detailed, data-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Aptitude for learning and understanding computer software
· Ability to plan, test, implement, troubleshoot and evaluate system software
Bachelors Degree


Education

High School diploma or GED (required)
