Job Description As a Provider Enrollment Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate enrollment of pharmacies in order to support our clients by providing their members access to the CVS Health network of pharmacies. Other responsibilities include pharmacy solicitation at the request of clients and customers, maintenance of pharmacy demographic information , electronic maintenance of pharmacy contracts and acting as the main point of contact for both chain and independent pharmacies.
The position focuses on communication, accuracy, production timeliness, and demonstrated ability to meet department minimum QC standards. Candidates must possess the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and respond to complex pharmacy questions related to enrollment and processing. Required Qualifications - 2+ years professional work experience required. Experience coming specifically from client or external reporting strongly preferred.Preferred Qualifications - Technical skills – Working knowledge of AS400 and Recap and the ability to adapt to and use proprietary Data Base programs.
- Data entry and Contract operations skills – Ability to thoroughly review legal documents. Demonstrated accurate data entry skills and an ability to manage individual workload to meet turnaround time expectations.
- Ability to communicate with a professional level audience such as pharmacists and business owners through both verbal and written interactions.
- General knowledge of CVS Caremark Products/Programs.
- Health Care/PBM experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work appropriately
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience with Medicaid health plans, Medicare Part D, or other government programs is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as with a group, to meet goals and deadlines with minimal oversight
- Pharmacy experience preferred
Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS in healthcare, information systems, business management, or related field preferred.
