Job Description
This Entry Level Assistant Typist is responsible for providing clerical support to Federal Employee Program (FEP) Prior Authorization Department. The Assistant Typist's primary duties include moving documents located in database tool CAS to work groups/queues, outbound fax communications to physician offices, scanning documents and attaching to internal database. This position requires decision-making skills to properly resolve inquiries for the healthcare providers and patients. The Assistant Typist must have professional communication skills for some outbound calls to MD offices for contact verification.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of computer experience is required, in addition to the ability to type 30 words a minute

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Team environment candidate with the ability to deal effectively with people and have great communication skills
- Knowledge of Caremark proprietary applications. Previous office experience. Previous Outbound call experience
- Health care experience desired


Education
High School Diploma or Post High School.
