Job Description
The 340B Finance Supervisor position is responsible for oversight of the 340B financial process, including all billing, collection, and payment processes, compliance with internal controls, and both internal and external financial reporting needs. The role supervises various members of the Finance team, and assists the Operations, Development, and Sales teams with research and analysis of 340B accounting issues, client inquiries and requests, and account reconciliations. The 340B Finance Supervisor must work effectively across cross functional groups to provide business support as well as ensure compliance with internal controls/policies. Duties may change as dictated by business direction.


Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities other duties as assigned:


  • 340B Program Finance Oversight
  • Assist in the design and execution of 340B billing processes, including being responsive to new service offerings and pricing models
  • Ensure 340B contracts are properly implemented and financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Provide input, as needed, on client contracting or program matters
  • Accounts Receivable/Collections
  • Monitors the aging of 340B accounts receivable,including minimizing DSO metrics
  • Support backbone/third party analysis and reconciliation processes
  • Accounts Payable/Payments
  • Monitor and approve payments to covered entities
  • Support the 340B operating expense processwithin CVS
  • Financial Reporting
  • Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly internal financial reporting
  • Support annual budget and periodic forecasting process
  • Other financial reporting, as needed
  • Customer Service
  • Monitors responses to 340B client inquiries byFinance team members
  • Respond to escalated 340B client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support Operations team members in resolving client matters
  • External support
  • Respond to outside agencies, insurance providers, audit firms, tax specialists, and others to provide requested documentation and other information.
  • Develop strong partner relationships and work closely with other Finance and non-Finance stakeholders in the company including Executive Team, Sales,Account Management and Operations business leaders.


Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position in health care or related industry



Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of 340B industry, including financial flow of underlying transactions.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other relevant field required
