While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

As a Part Time Dispensing Pharmacist for our Long Term Care Pharmacy in Chanlder, AZ, you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy.

  • You will provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.
  • Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely. In this role, you will be an integral member of the pharmacy team.
  • Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service.
  • The most successful Pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as a good sense of urgency.
  • The contributions you will make as a Pharmacist will position CVS Health as a leader within the LTC marketplace.

Required Qualifications
You will need:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current Arizona license to practice pharmacy in good standing required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications
·At least one (1) year of related pharmacy
management experience
·At least two (2) years of long term care

BS Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required with current license to practice pharmacy that is in good standing · You should have at least two (2) years of related pharmacy management experience with knowledge of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist guidelines for practice, state and federal regulations, and drug indicators for long term care centers · Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication · Ability to work independently to plan, develop and coordinate pharmacy activities as well as read, analyze and interpret complex topics using reasoning abilities to apply advanced mathematical concepts and draw valid conclusions. · Knowledge of all government regulations impacting upon pharmacy · Ability to work weekends and after hours as needed · Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
