Job Description
As a Property Retail Accountant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate analysis and maintenance of construction-in-progress activity related to capital expenditure projects. This includes approving spend, reconciling to the general ledger and the creation of fixed assets relating to the closing of project activity for CVS Health

Responsibilities:
- Capital Approvals – Monitoring and approving Capital spend in various systems.
- Project Reconciliations – Review capital projects when due and discover, assign, and create associated assets.
- Preparation of monthly accruals.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations.
- Complete ad hoc requests and presentations as needed.


Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of MS Office experience


Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Fixed Asset Accounting, including tax depreciation methods
- PC Skills including a strong knowledge of Excel, Access, SAP, and PeopleSoft preferred.
- Ability to develop and/or refine procedures as needed
- Navigate and comprehend mechanics of financial systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload


Education
Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
