Job DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Business Analysis Manager with CVS Health's Retail division which is motivated by our purpose to "helping people on their path to better health” by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Analysis, you will lead a team of BA's in their execution of projects and initiatives that fall under the Business Analysis organization.
You will play a key leadership role in Business Problem Solving and should have the ability to take ambiguous, complex business problems using research plus business assessment capabilities to define the problem, drive new ideas, define the requirements, and recommend actionable next steps. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Analysis, you will lead business analysts as well as full time/contract employees in their execution of projects/initiatives that fall under the Business Analysis organization.
Additionally, you will guide business and cross-competency teams with completing tasks related to business solution planning, business case development as well as documenting and leading customer requirements throughout the development life-cycle. This includes requirements definition, requirements analysis, business process analysis; requirements change management, use case and business process modeling, logical system and data design and high level estimating.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Leading the development of requirements and specifications for application enhancements and upgrades.
-Participating in budgeting and quality improvement activities for the organization.
-Working with business representatives, project management and dynamic information systems teams to develop and implement the specific technology and architecture necessary to deliver business solutions
-Hiring, training, and supervising staff Participating in organizational activities related to assign resources, lead and mentor team members through strategic deployment, development and performance management
-Analyzing and organize business analyst operations and procedures as well as serve as an advocate for process improvement initiatives.
-Partnering with other resource coordinators to source and share resources for effective resource utilization.
-Supporting the Test effort validating requirements test coverage in Test Strategies, Plans and Scenarios.
Required Qualifications-Minimum of 5 years of in application development (SDLC) specifically focused on requirements & analysis phase and managing a large team of direct reports focused on multiple small to medium projects or major components of a large program. -Minimum 5 years experience handling customer requirements or demands effectively, meeting deliverable dates, leading a work group(s), driving process improvements and directing customer contact. -Experience in a role utilizing exceptional skills related to BA standard methodologies and team leadership; validate experience forming a team of effective Business Analysts is required. -Minimum 8 years with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio) Preferred Qualifications-10 years overall experience Retail, Pharmacy, or Healthcare knowledge highly-desirable -Experience with process improvement concepts a plus -Technical and development background a plus Education -Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or HE Diploma/GED accompanied by adequate years of related work experience required.
-MS or MBA preferred
