Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an IT Monitoring Engineer. This is a dynamic position within a large enterprise environment integrating monitoring tools from other vendors to HPE monitoring suite.

As IT Monitoring Engineer you will be responsible for:
Design of monitoring platform architecture, installation, configuration, integration, upgrading and administration of HPE monitoring software suite, Universal Configuration Management Database (UCMDB), and integration to HP Omi and XMatters. New monitoring requirement gathering and design monitoring solutions. Installation and configuration of Operations Agent (OA) and Performance Agent (PA). Installation and configuration of Smart Plug-Ins for Systems Infrastructure (SISPI), Active Directory (ADSPI), Database (DBSPI), WebServer (JBoss, Apache, IIS), MS Exchange and Citrix Customization of policies/templates, create custom scripts and policies in HPOM. Administration and Troubleshooting of said monitoring software’s. Creating Topology based event correlation (TBEC) in BSM OMi. Creating Models, Views and Queries in BSM RTSM and UCMDB. Creating dashboard views and custom reports in the APM. Installation and Configuration of Reporting tools Performance Manager (OVPM) and Service Health Reporter (SHR). Creation of templates, monitors in Sitescope and working on integration with Operations Manager and Business Service Management (BSM). Migration of application monitoring scripts from older versions and configuration of alerts to escalate via dashboard to XMatters.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and monitoring platform architecture, HPE preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with monitoring tools, WebServer (JBoss, Apache, and IIS), Scripting Language
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Shell and Visual Basic
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with d atabases – MSSQL and Oracle Minimum of 5 years working with server-based Operating Systems such as Windows and Unix/Linux.

Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years experience using the HPE monitoring tools suite with experience integrating monitoring tools with other dashboards and alerting tools XMatters and iTechtools.

Preferred experience with Capacity Planning & Performance Tuning on Large Scale Data Hadoop Environment and should have experience with Hadoop Cluster Security implementation.

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems , MIS, or closely related technical field
