Job Description
As Advisor, IT Systems the individual will be in a Tier 2 Production Support role for software applications in the PBM (Prescriptions Benefit Management) area. The resource should possess problem solving and analytical skills that will help in incident management and problem management. In this role, the resource should be able existing applications as well as support new projects that are being deployed to production across a diverse stack of technologies for Formulary and Benefits Management.

As an Advisor, one will be expected to:
develop code to resolve software defects, triage production support incidents, provide timely resolution, lead service delivery projects, maintain high availability, perform monitoring, reduce MTTR, performance maintenance (certificates, data, servers) conduct Root Cause Analysis perform capacity management Support 24*7 on-call rotation create and maintain documentation adherence to security and compliance plan and conduct disaster recovery review and approve project design and production turn over kits vendor management



Required Qualifications
5+ years of overall IT experience including the following:

5+ years experience with Java, Oracle (11i/10g/9/8i), and J2EE technology stacks with EJB, XML, and Unix.

5+ years leadership experience in application development (SDLC, Agile) or a technical operations environment.

3+ years in Web Technologies like HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Ajax, XML, Web API Service, REST API

2+ years in production support role


Preferred Qualifications
* ITIL experience.

* Experience with SQL scripts, functions, stored procedures, cursors, triggers and packages, Advanced PL/SQL objects, and bulk collections.

* Experience with MQ series, Web Services, and CICIS/DB2.

* Experience with IBM AS/400 iSeries, Synon/2e, Cool2e, and RPG.

* Experience with working in a consulting capacity.

* Knowledge of Oracle DBA concepts. Knowledge of Maria DB and SQL Server is a plus.

* Knowledge of PBM industry, including Benefits Administration and Formulary.

* Windows Programming such as C/C++, C#, Core Java, varied Windows Applications, Console Applications, ASP.NET, .NET Frameworks

* Strong communication skills.


Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Will accept one year of experience for every year of college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
