Specialty pharmacy is one of the fastest growing health caresegments in the U.S. As the largest specialty pharmacy, CVS Specialty providesadvanced clinical services for eligible patients who require treatment for rareor complex conditions. This includes drug therapy management, dispensing andinfusion services, in addition to customized support and counseling to helpensure appropriate and safe medication use and achieve positive healthoutcomes. In this position you’ll play an important role in servicing ourbusiness partners to enable them to meet the needs of our patients.

The Specialty Service Delivery Sr. Analyst supports enterpriselevel and mission critical services within the Specialty group at CVS Caremark.The Sr. Analyst leverages skills with industry standard technologies tomaintain applications central to the operations of CVS Health.

The Sr. Analyst understands the business purpose for the supported services andis expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensurethat quality standards are met. Responsible for maintaining theapplication ecosystem, partnering with core infrastructure & applicationdevelopment teams to resolve defects, execute defect elimination plans andidentify actions to improve overall service stability. The Sr. Analystcontributes to the development of technical solutions as assigned, adhering toall established methodologies, standards and guidelines. The candidate musthave a sharp focus on platform stability, quality of service, continuousimprovement and risk mitigation. The role involves troubleshooting systemissues creatively and driving to actionable root causes.

Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring application availability and resolving reportedincidents with SLAs.
- Performing IT incident response, triage and root-causeanalysis, while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation support, as needed,during off-hours.
- Offer resolution to application problems using your domainexpertise.
- Address live production issues, identifying applicationdata issues and documenting the root cause for resolutions.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with the following:
- Oracle 10g/11g or similar version, SQL, PL/SQL
- Programming PL/SQL batches programs, using
packages, stored procedures and triggers
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Hands on experience with Oracle Forms and

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with industry standard
middleware (e.g. Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat, IBM MQ Series) and web server
technologies (e.g. IHS, Apache).
- 1+ years of experience with Java J2E
- Experience in Healthcare Industry or PBM
(Pharmacy Benefit Management) and/or Specialty background
- Good communication skills are required to
facilitate effective partnering with both technical and business

- Ability to demonstrate creative & critical thinking when debugging system
problems that results in problem identification and restoration.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or
equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is
required for each year of college not attained.
