Position Summary:
The Digital Front Store Analytics Advisor will be responsible for accelerating the pace of digital innovation
at CVSHealth with high-impact actionable analysis and reporting. We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Web Analytics star who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, creating insightful analysis on the go and learning new reporting systems and analytical tools.

In this highly visible opportunity, you will be responsible for planning and executing reporting and analytics, supporting our Digital Retail Front Store initiatives and communicating results to various stakeholders. You will
partner with the product and project management teams in Digital, IT, Finance, and Front Store teams to identify strategic opportunities and risks in the Front Store area.

You will identify the data and infrastructure required to generate cohesive analysis to better understand customers behavior and build key success metrics to evaluate the impact of various projects and enhancements. Additionally, this individual must function as a highly effective leader in a matrix environment given the role of serving stakeholders on the enterprise and business unit teams. Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Partner with the Digital team to create annual goals and communicate progress to reaching the annual goals throughout the year.
  • Work with the business team to new value sources and annual goals.
  • Build out and maintain a tracker to keep track of the progress towards the goals.
  • Create forecasts and identify risks to the plan as well as opportunities to mitigate the risks.
  • Partner with Digital Front Store team to answer various strategic and tactical questions to achieve their plan.
  • Perform in-depth analysis for the front store team from end-to-end which includes understanding the business needs and translating to analytic requests, extracting data from a variety of sources, manipulate and analyze using quantitative, statistical, and visualization tools.
  • Interface with internal clients to understand requests, develop analytics to address issues, prioritize adhoc tasks, and set clear expectations across teams.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on best practices and standards for developing analysis and reporting.
  • Present findings to the senior leaders within Digital and outside business partners.
  • Maintain and manage process for issuing regular reports, ensure timely and accurate publishing process; educate business partners how to use various reporting elements.
  • Drive analytics to support projects and product enhancements for CVS Digital.
  • Work with the business team to formulate success metrics and measurement plan for front store projects, socialize them, and create dashboards/reports to monitor them.
  • Establish and automate post deployment reporting and analysis based on the success metrics, provide business and product teams with insights for post deployment performance.
  • As an end consumer of the data, define and implement tracking of our digital properties that is necessary to enable the analytics by working closely with the product team and the development team.


Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this opportunity you will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in conducting highly quantitative analytics along with at least a minimum of 1 year of experience in SQL with an understanding of data warehouse architecture. Candidates must have knowledge of various data mining techniques to generate business insights and demonstrated experience in fact-based analysis using large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management. Advanced skills in Excel (macros, VBA) also required.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project oriented, pro-active, and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage effectively multiple projects and changing priorities in an extremely fast paced environment and constantly deliver superior results within given deadlines.
  • Strengths in structured and logical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution, and attention to detail.
  • Strong expertise of click stream data and web/mobile analytics tools such as Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Localytics etc. is a must have.
  • Experience with statistical packages (SAS, R).
  • Experience with Tableau.


Education:
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's preferred.
