Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Marketing is responsible for driving awareness, traffic, and consumer acquisition and retention of shopping digitally with CVS, via or in app shopping. Work closely with business partners in our Digital organization.

The Sr. Marketing Manager, will lead a small team, and be responsible for supporting a variety of initiatives to help us acquire new customers and increase our engagement with and retention of current customers. The Sr. Manager will play a key role in helping build the Marketing strategy and ensuring those strategies are executed according to plan, on time and on budget. Project management will be the responsibility of the person/persons reporting to the Sr. Manager, with strong oversight.

The team is specifically responsible for the following:

· Aid the Director, Digital Commerce, in developing the Marketing strategy by preparing competitive analysis, leveraging analytics to recommend next steps for optimizing campaigns, and putting together materials to communicate strategy to both internal and external partners.

·Support the development of and manage the execution of marketing strategies and tactics across paid, earned, and owned channels. Tactics include email, direct mail, in-store, paid media, affiliate, social, and more. Must deliver work that is on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy.

·Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with Business Partners across the organization to ensure marketing initiatives meet launch and in-store deadlines.

·Proactively unlock customer insights around barriers to trial and/or new opportunities for CVS to pursue, with regards to digital customers and unmet customer needs.

·Drive test and learn agenda for new channels, messages, etc. that will yield stronger acquisition and retention numbers.

·Leverage analytics to measure campaign success, and support optimization to deliver desired results.

·Apply ‘lessons learned’ and continuously improve the way that work is developed and delivered, providing feedback and implementing changes to optimize internal processes.

·Act as an independent self-starter and anticipate requests to properly execute projects and initiatives.

·Be able to negotiate compromises, have difficult conversations, and manage up/across/down within and across teams in a positive and collaborative spirit.

·Ensure all marketing materials are on-strategy and meet marketing, brand, and legal guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
·8+ years of marketing or advertising experience with a focus on retail and digital marketing communications.

·A thirst for data driven Marketing – where data, technology, and creativity meet.

·Direct Marketing experience with proven track record of planning, monitoring and delivering tactical online and offline marketing activities with a strong focus on ROI.

·Strong comfort with managing multiple projects at once, in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and attention to detail are keys to success.

·Email experience.

·Enjoys managing projects in an environment where priorities can change quickly.

·Communicate effectively at all levels, across departments, and with Business Partners.

·Possess the ability to adjust interaction and communications styles for different audiences and situations.

·Contributes to a highly engaged-culture, leads with energy, self-confidence and understanding in ways that motivate and
inspires others.

·Demonstrates ability to persuade others to support important initiatives, gain alignment with our strategy and goals, and act in the best interests of the company.

·Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word.

·Experience in creating campaigns that drive strong eCommerce results is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Marketing environment at an e-commerce company or e-commerce division is desired, but not required

Bachelor's Degree required (Business, Marketing, or Economics preferred)
