Finance Leadership Programs

Our Finance Leadership Programs are committed to helping you to develop a long-term career at CVS Health.

The programs are composed of:

  • Finance Internship Program (FIP)
  • Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP)
  • Experienced Finance Leadership Program (EFLP)

Our leadership programs focus on the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be a successful leader at CVS Health. These opportunities are designed to support a variety of leadership roles across our enterprise while providing targeted leadership development support.

Program participants will benefit from individualized career development, continuous coaching and feedback, mentoring and leadership capability training while also building a long lasting network within CVS Health.

Your Future Network

Through your time in the Finance Leadership Programs, you will receive constant opportunities to strengthen a lifelong network that you will be able to leverage at any point in your career.

Many of our alumni stay at CVS Health, however, the Finance Leadership Program network extends far beyond CVS Health. Either way, it is a shared experience that will allow you to connect with other alum and open doors for you throughout your finance career.

Mentorship

You will be provided a formal mentor from the program in the career progression ahead of you to help you navigate a successful career at CVS Health. Your mentor will use their experience to help you through each step of your career at CVS Health. EFLP’s will receive a CVS Health executive as their formal mentors.

While all Finance Leadership Program colleagues receive mentors, through your daily interactions with leaders, you may also pick up informal mentors as you build key relationships with your teams and others you frequently collaborate with.

Community Service and Volunteering

You will have the opportunity to volunteer through frequent community service events. The Finance Leadership Programs are committed to giving back to the community through organizations we have partnered with, such as the Compass Youth Collaborative, The Dragon Boat and Asian Festival, Junior Achievement, and many others for a number of causes.

FLDP Paul Pepas contributed to the FLP Day of Service supporting the Ocean Conservancy in June 2021.

Mental Health and Well-being

The Finance Leadership Programs stress the emphasis of your mental health and well-being. You will participate in group mental health and well-being “breaks” that are designed to enhance your health, not just while on the clock, but after you disconnect into your personal life as well.

Corporate finance brings a favorable work-life balance that the finance programs strongly encourage colleagues to manage. You will experience significant flexibility within your teams throughout your time in the programs to accommodate your needs and desired balance.
