MinuteClinic takes an innovative, patient-focused approach to health care. We’ll give you autonomy and empower you to make decisions as you treat your patients.
In our retail clinics, the 1-on-1 approach benefits both the patient and the practitioner. You’ll treat your own patients, make independent decisions about care and act as their single point of contact with the support of more than 300 thousand clinical colleagues in a virtual and on demand environment. We’ve also implemented many quality and service innovations to help you better serve your patients. These include new scheduling systems that send a text message when it’s their turn, team-based shifts, and an Electronic Medical Record system that gives you evidence-based diagnosis and treatment. When you’re part of the MinuteClinic team, you’re working with the best. With more than 1,100 clinic locations inside CVS Pharmacy and Target stores in 33 states and the District of Columbia as well as corporate positions with the MinuteClinic team, you will have opportunity to grow your career to best fit your personal needs.
Backed by the resources of CVS Health, you’ll take ownership of your work, and provide patient-centered, high-quality care. This is a challenging role, but one where you’ll experience greater satisfaction and have a voice in how health care is delivered. We offer full-time, part-time and weekend schedules. MinuteClinic employs physician assistants in select states.
Patients want more choices and convenience without sacrificing the quality of care. Working just a few hours a month, you'll help us continue to provide high-quality care. The amount of time the job takes and the compensation depend on the number of clinics and the number of collaborations, approximately two hours per month per clinic. As a MinuteClinic collaborating physician, you'll enter into a collaborative agreement with the nurse practitioners or physician assistants.
For our preceptor program, we collaborate with nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs across the nation. This gives you the opportunity to learn clinical processes, gain specialized training and experience real patient interaction, all while meeting your school’s academic standards. Our application portal is open for one month three times a year in August, December and April.
You can be a part of the MinuteClinic team in our corporate offices as well. You may begin your career as a clinic practitioner and as your career needs change you find an opportunity to be a part of our corporate environment in marketing, IT, Human Resources, Finance or Digital Innovation. The career possibilities at CVS Health are unlimited and we will work with you to find the best fit position for you.
