Job Description
CVS Health is looking for a talented and agile leader to enhance our understanding of the consumer as well as the effectiveness of marketing on our business. The Director of Marketing Analytics will join a Customer Analytics team that enhances the corporate understanding of the CVS Pharmacy ® retail customer and measures marketing initiatives across the retail front store, pharmacy and clinic space. This newly created role will be responsible for leading analysts and managers in measuring and optimizing the return on our marketing investments in traditional and digital media. The ideal candidate will have an advanced analytics background with experience in retail or healthcare and a passion for digital technologies.

Lead and develop a growing team of managers, marketing analysts and digital technology advisors in supporting the organization's understanding of traditional and digital marketing effectiveness in the retail space
Serve as a subject matter expert on advanced analytic methods and digital technology solutions
Devise and oversee analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of the impact of marketing on consideration, engagement, and conversion
Create and deliver impactful presentations that provide insights and recommendations for senior-level audiences
Guide a team in leveraging data and analytics to answer business questions related to consumer behavior
Provide thought leadership on digital technology solutions that will enhance measurement capabilities and business impact
Create relationships and processes with internal Digital partners to ensure accurate and timely tagging to support advertising campaign measurement


Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field
-10+ years working in marketing analysis with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
-Expertise in advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement
-Expertise using data analysis and visualization tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, and Tableau
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Strong people management skills
-Ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a deadline-driven environment
-High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
-Advanced degree in data science, marketing analytics or business analytics field preferred
-Experience working with digital tagging, measurement, and tracking tools and providers, such as Doubleclick, Atlas, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Omniture, Facebook Business Manager, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field; Advanced degree in data science, marketing analytics or business analytics field is preferred.
