As a Pharmacy Technician II - Non-Clinical Divert, you willbe empowered to partner with the pharmacists and route questionableprescriptions for resolution or put on your thinking cap and solve escalatedprescription issues. The Pharmacy Technician is essential to ensure each issuehas been resolved to ensure a positive customer experience. The PharmacyTechnician is responsible for communicating with physician’s offices andefficiently reading and interpreting prescriptions. This role requires beingdetailed oriented, utilizing and sharpening your accuracy and efficiency inreading and interpreting prescriptions. In addition, these roles requiresolution-driven individuals with excellent problem solving skills,strengthening your data entry skills, which will have a positive impact on thepharmacy workflow in a fast-paced environment.
As part of the Pharmacy Technician II - Non-Clinical Divertteam, you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed attransforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information,technologies and channels.

- E-faxing
- Understandingpharmaceutical calculations
- Working withbasic computer programs
- Customer Focus
- Problem Solving
- High levels ofreliability

CPhT, PTCB, Customer Service, Pharmacy Technician, MailOrder, Specialty, CVS, Mail, Insurance Verification, Processing Technician

Required Qualifications
Must have Texas Trainee License or Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
At least 6 months of previous pharmacy technician experience

Preferred Qualifications
National Certification (CPhT) is preferred, but not required.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to positively deal with changes and promote a positive work environment.
Basic knowledge and understanding of a pharmacy workflow.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think globally.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
Availability Monday - Friday, 9a-5:30pm; rotating weekend

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
