Indeed Groups – FAQs

Q. When should I use Indeed Groups (formerly Indeed Central)?

A. Indeed Groups should be seen as a local “boost” if your Pharmacy/Store is seeing significant challenges in staffing a particular role (Pharmacy Tech, Pharmacist, etc.) and does not have an adequate candidate pipeline. Indeed Groups should only be used to sponsor a job posting. All CVS Health jobs are currently on Indeed as free/organic postings. Using Indeed Groups is not a requirement, as we have a very robust recruitment advertising strategy that drives 5-7 million applicants to CVS Health annually.

Q. Who has access to Indeed Groups?

A. Currently, access to Indeed Groups is restricted to DLs & DPCs across the retail organization.

Q: Can I use a personal email address to join Indeed Groups?

A: No, you must use your corporate email address (@cvshealth.com) in order to gain access.

Q: How do I create my Indeed Groups account/request access?

A: Go to https://cvs.jobs/indeedgroups2024 to create an account or login if you already have an existing Indeed employer account.

Q: I’ve created my account, how do I access the platform?

A: Once your request to join is approved, please access your account using this link: https://employers.indeed.com/.

Q: I still haven’t received an invite to join Indeed Groups. How do I get access?

A: If you have checked your spam folder and quarantine emails and still don’t see an invite to join, please contact us at jobs@cvshealth.com.

Q: Will the Indeed Group postings lead candidates to apply to specific stores, or will these candidates still fall into a cluster?

A: The apply process is the same; if the ‘evergreen’ has a cluster, then those candidates will be pulled into a cluster.

Q: What is the definition of an evergreen req?

A: Evergreen reqs are always open for applicants to apply to – they are open for the most common positions to ensure a consistent candidate pipeline. They are ‘candidate facing’ – this means these are not visible to the hiring manger, but visible on the CVS Careers website (https://jobs.cvshealth.com). ‘Real reqs’ should only be opened based on actual, ‘real’ hiring needs.

Q: I searched “Pharmacy Technician” in Dayton, OH on Indeed and couldn’t find my job until I got to the 10th page, how do I get my job to appear at the top of page 1?

A: Indeed is a job search engine that is meant to be used and optimized for job seekers and their experience searching for new opportunities. Performing repeated search queries without clicking on jobs is interpreted by our system as disinterest or irrelevance, therefore the Indeed algorithm will remove jobs that populate multiple times but never get clicked on. If you are unsure if your job is performing on the site, check your analytics page in your account to see if you are getting impressions (defined as the number of times a job is seen on the results page by a jobseeker) and clicks (defined as the number of times a jobseeker physically clicks on a job posting.) If you are not seeing data populate, Indeed can investigate further, as it could be something included in the title or description that could be causing visibility issues. Beyond that, the order of the jobs in the search results will vary depending on the search being performed and who is searching it. Ensure you have a competitive budget (if applicable) and that your job title and description are optimized for the job seeker experience (common, relatable keywords in your titles, and relevant keywords, requirements, etc. in your job description.

Q. Do I have the option to have candidates delivered to my inbox (Indeed Easy Apply)?

A. No, currently Indeed Groups does not support Easy Apply functionality. To ensure a positive candidate experience, it is important we direct candidates back to the career site to apply. Doing this allows each candidate the opportunity to be evaluated, interviewed and/or dispositioned by our Hiring Support Center colleagues.

Q: How do I check on my job’s performance?

A: From your dashboard, click on the ‘Jobs’ tab in the left-hand column, then click on ‘Analytics’, then ‘Jobs performance’. Once there, you can filter by date range, and/or other filters such as location, title, etc

Q. Why am I being billed by Indeed?

A. At this time, payment for Indeed Central posts can only be made via credit card. We are therefore asking that Indeed Group accounts be opened and maintained by District Leaders (or DPCs as their delegates). This will enable appropriate oversight of the resource, and easy reimbursement via Concur.
