As the Cloud Customer Enablement Engineering Lead within the Cloud Platforms and Technologies (CPT) team, you will be focused on the success of application teams using CVS Health cloud products. CPT leads the end-to-end delivery and engineering of Cloud Product and Services to the CVS Health enterprise.

You will have exceptional problem-solving skills, be an effective communicator that uses your abilities to successfully collaborate with customers and CPT Team members, and able to lead and influence product adoption conversations for customer benefit.

You will be an expert in the CPT team’s portfolio of products, advising application teams on the selection of products that would deliver the best application experience for their customers.

You will deliver direct customer and teammate coaching and engagement, ensuring customer success and obtaining valuable product feedback for product enhancements.

In this role you will be responsible for driving the strategy, architecture, and adoption of IaaS and PaaS Cloud services across our major Cloud Platforms, both Public and Private.

Candidates will primarily work in a hybrid office model.  However, depending upon product and customer specific requirements, new efforts may require some travel. This is a hands-on engineering leadership position that works across the entire product lifecycle to drive customer success in using cloud products.

In this position, you will:

  • Educate and guide developers and other Customer Enablement Engineers, providing mentorship on cloud technology adoption, including its advantages, recommended practices, and implementation strategies
  • Assist application developers in designing Cloud solutions that meet specific application requirements, emphasizing reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, and security
  • Lead the design and adoption of new Cloud capabilities by partnering with our enterprise application development and infrastructure teams
  • Manage relationships with application teams and prioritizes multiple projects as they go from design into production
  • Develop design diagrams and corresponding documentation to set enterprise best practices for Cloud product, service, and platform adoption
  • Collaborate with teams across the company (e.g., Network, Security, Operations) to build complete cloud product offerings. Activities will include:
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as required
    • Collaborate closely with application development and operations teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic success of Cloud product adoption
    • Regularly meet with key customers to understand their product roadmap and how their requirements influence Cloud product modifications for customer success
    • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Cloud technology and broader technology trends, sharing valuable insights with the CPT team and its customers

To be considered, you will need:

  • Deep technical expertise, including both a strong knowledge of Cloud computing platforms and architecture patterns
  • Excellent customer collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated bias for action and a strong sense of ownership

Required Qualifications:     

  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms / applications/ software products or design tools
  • Experience optimizing and modernizing complex enterprise applications from legacy platforms to Cloud-based platforms
  • Expertise in microservices-based architectures
  • Experience in handling customer expectations and relationship building

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile SDLC experience
     
  • Excellent communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business leaders
  • Experience evaluating and recommending new solutions to meet enterprise requirements

  • Demonstrated teamwork, positive attitude and good rapport with peers and customers
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced continually changing environment

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 – $288,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
