This is a hybrid role requiring working from the office 3 days a week. Candidates must reside within driving distance of a CVS/Aetna office.

Position Summary

•Acts in the capacity of trusted advisor to all levels of Leadership regarding vendor engagements

Partners Business Units to develop and implement vendor strategy and solutions, including, upcoming RFPs, Compliance Issues/Updates, Diverse Vendor spend requirements, vendor reporting, Vendor Performance, expiring contracts and vendor spend

Leads State RFP Support and documentation and strategic initiatives

Drives solutions to vendor compliance/performance issues

Leads Vendor Implementations

Partners with Compliance Officers to ensure State Requirements are met as they relate to vendors

Provides potential vendor solutions

Partners with Operations and Vendor Management Oversight to ensure Vendors are monitored and managed to meet or exceed Plans’ and contractual expectations

Contributes to process, procedures, and workflow improvements 

Required Qualifications

Strong business, analytical, leadership and critical thinking and problem-solving skills and acumen

·Project Management experience

·Vendor management experience

•Intermediate experience with contractual document terms

•Strong experience with drafting and evaluating Statements or Work

Intermediate financial acumen and analytical skills

Strong collaboration skills (external and internal to team)

Experience with driving effective results, with minimal guidance

intermediate ability to implement Enterprise, business and team’s strategic goals

Strong knowledge of Medicaid, State, and regulatory requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively engage with all levels of leadership

Strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely

•Relationship management skills at the senior and executive levels

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Vendor Management, Contracts and/or Procurement or:

3+ years experience leading increasing complex projects with some direction from leadership

3+ years setting or implementing business strategies

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 – $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
