Why did you apply at CVS Health?
While I was in college, I was currently working part time at a retail pharmacy. I enjoyed working in pharmacy, but wanted more hours. I applied to Omnicare for overnight order entry technician while going to school during the day.
What is the most exciting part of working for CVS Health?
Each day I learn something new. I work with an amazing group of people that challenges me to be the best version of myself and teaches me things that I might not know.
What do you tell your friends and family about working at CVS Health?
CVS Health/Omnicare has given me so many opportunities. I began working here as a job to make money while in school and ended up changing my trajectory and making this my career after finishing my MBA. I get to travel to many different pharmacies and partner with our leadership teams to constantly improve our work flow processes.
Describe your typical day at work at CVS Health.
My day is typically spent either supporting pharmacies on site or spending time in meetings or conference calls focused on building requirements for our project and gathering feedback from our Pharmacy colleagues.
What are your career goals?
I would like to continue my growth and develop within CVS Health. In my previous role, I was able to lead a team and would like to have that opportunity again within Project Life cycle work.
What does “lead with heart” mean to you?
I always think about my grandma living in one of our nursing homes. I want to ensure that she has the best service possible. I envision her on the end of the process of each and everything I do.
