  • Are you currently enrolled as a full‑time or part‑time undergraduate student at a college or university (including community colleges)? 
  • Are you able to work 35 hours per week from June through early August, with flexible availability? 
  • Are you pursuing a degree related to business, retail, hospitality, operations, or a similar field?
  • Do you have at least one year of experience caring for customers in a retail or other fast‑paced environment, such as food service, customer service, sales, or hospitality/tourism? 
  • Do you have experience achieving results through others—either as a manager or by leading an on-campus organization or initiative?

This 12-week program is a great opportunity to gain on-the-job training, get exposure to all aspects of store management and leadership, and set yourself up for a successful future.

  • Build leadership skills and inspire teams to deliver excellent customer service

  • Upon program completion, you’ll be ready to take on leadership of your own CVS Pharmacy® retail store as market openings allow.

Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting and Risk Management

Yes, our internship roles are paid. 

For Retail Management Internship roles, CVS Health does not offer sponsorship visas.   

The application itself takes about 10 minutes to complete. There is also a 45-minute virtual job assessment.

There is no limit on how many positions you can apply to. We recommend applying to 1–3 roles, keeping in mind you’ll only be eligible to accept one offer. 

To best support our customers, our retail management, distribution center and retail pharmacy roles require colleagues to be on site.

All colleagues have access to our Employee Assistance Program and Wellness Programs, which offer a variety of resources such as free, confidential counseling for mental health, mindfulness and sleep coaching and virtual fitness classes. Interns can also connect with our Colleague Resource Groups, which are colleague-led organizations that encourage personal and professional development, promote diversity and serve as a networking opportunity.

Members of CRGs often share a common affinity such as ethnicity, gender, cultural identity, focus or constituency, but each organization is open to all colleagues.
