Why did you apply at CVS Health?
CVS Health has always provided my family with the care and attention that they deserve. I wanted to be a part of an organization that treats patients and customers like family every day.

What is the most exciting part of working for CVS Health?
I love to work with people, and seeing my colleagues develop themselves for the better every day is a fantastic feeling. Engaging and inspiring to treat others the way they want to be treated, and growing the business for our shareholders every day.

What do you tell your friends and family about working at CVS Health?
My family and friends understand I get to wake up each day and go to work with an organization that is always adapting to the health care changes that are affecting our patients. I enjoy providing exceptional service to our patrons.

What is unique or exciting about working in retail?
Retail is always changing, such as what we are selling now, what we will sell next week, what the consumer thinks of the store/pharmacy, and the people that work in the building. The most exciting part or retail is always thinking ahead and making the small changes that affect the overall outcomes.

Describe your typical day at work at CVS Health.
A day at CVS is following up with people, having strong conversations around their personal life, getting to know who they are, and feeling connected to your people. Next I look at how we performed yesterday, last week in sales and scripts, then proceed to look at store conditions. I want the store to be ready for our customers and patients every day without exception. The patients and customers choose to come to CVS Health, and we don’t take it for granted.

Why should someone consider working in retail?
Retail is a fast-paced environment, made for the person who is really into personal connection and developing relationships with our patrons so they revisit the store over and over again. Retail is made for that personal touch. The customers and patients are buying the experience of their visit more than the products.

What are your career goals?
My aspirations for myself in the organization of CVS Health is to be a District Leader in my next step, perform well, and become a Regional Director. I want to make a difference not just for our shareholders but the colleagues who work exceptionally hard every day to take care of our patrons.

What does “lead with heart” mean to you?
Treating everyone with compassion and the understanding that everyone has a story to tell. Never take anyone for granted, and always show the sense of care they deserve.
