Each fall and winter, CVS Health hosts two virtual externship programs designed to help emerging talent build confidence, sharpen professional skills and explore future career paths in key business areas, including:

Applications are accepted September through March, or until roles are filled.

The Summer Internship Summit brings together our corporate interns for an immersive development experience built around growth, connection and career exploration. This signature experience empowers students to expand their networks, strengthen their capabilities and gain insight into future career paths at CVS Health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, our internship and post-graduation roles are paid. 

CVS Health may offer relocation packages for qualifying roles and locations that meet our relocation requirements.  

For post-graduation student roles, CVS Health may sponsor visas for certain roles. If a student role offers sponsorship, it will be listed on the job posting. 

The application itself takes about 10 minutes to complete. 

There is no limit on how many positions you can apply to. We recommend applying to 1–3 roles, keeping in mind you’ll only be eligible to accept one offer. 

We adhere to a hybrid model for corporate office-based roles.

All colleagues have access to our Employee Assistance Program and Wellness Programs, which offer a variety of resources such as free, confidential counseling for mental health, mindfulness and sleep coaching and virtual fitness classes. Interns can also connect with our Colleague Resource Groups, which are colleague-led organizations that encourage personal and professional development, promote diversity and serve as a networking opportunity. Members of CRGs often share a common affinity such as ethnicity, gender, cultural identity, focus or constituency, but each organization is open to all colleagues.

CVS Health has roles available in a variety of office locations across the United States. Our largest corporate offices are in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Arizona, Illinois, and Texas. Locations vary by role.
